The AMFA – Southwest Airlines (SWA) Negotiating Committee has requested a system-wide referendum regarding a Tentative Agreement (TA) for the SWA Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs). The complete text of the TA is posted to SWALife for your review and can also be viewed on the voting website.
Votes for this referendum will be cast using the ElectionBuddy system, and all active AMFA members in good standing employed by Southwest Airlines under the Mechanics and Related CBA are eligible to vote. Note: Any member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been paid in full is a member in bad standing, and therefore, is ineligible to vote. Members are strongly urged to resolve any arrearage prior to this referendum being conducted.
The Referendum Notice and Instructions will be emailed to eligible voters who have a PERSONAL email address on file with AMFA National by July 6, 2023. Referendum Notice and Instructions postcards will also be sent to the address on file with AMFA National. Any eligible member who has not received voting instructions by July 18 or anyone having questions about the voting process, should contact 720-744-6629 or elections@amfanatl.org.
The voting period for this referendum will end at 10:00 am et on July 27, 2023, the day of the tally.
