In accordance with Article XXIII, Section 3 of the AMFA Constitution, AMFA National is conducting a survey of the Alaska Airlines (ASA) membership to prioritize proposals submitted for the AMFA – ASA contract negotiations. This survey gives you an opportunity to indicate your opinion of the level of importance for each proposal by ranking it High, Neutral, or Low priority, and the results of this prioritization vote will be given to the Contract Negotiation Committee to be used during the contract negotiation process. A copy of the 78 compiled proposals will be included in each voting package. Responses to this survey will be made using the TrueBallot, Inc. WebVote® system. All active AMFA members in good standing employed by ASA are eligible to participate in this survey. Note: Any member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been paid in full is a member in bad standing, and therefore, their responses will be eliminated prior to the tally. Members are strongly urged to resolve any arrearage prior to the tally so their responses will be counted. The Survey Notice and Instructions along with the compiled proposals will be mailed to eligible participants at the address on file with AMFA National as of February 5, 2009. Any eligible member who has not received instructions in the mail by February 17, 2009, or anyone having questions about the voting process, should contact the Elections Administrator at 720-744-6629. The voting period for this survey will commence at 3:00pm et on February 5, 2009, and will end at 10:00am et on March 5, 2009. |
