AMFA – Alaska Airlines The AMFA Alaska Airlines Negotiation Committee has tentatively agreed to two (2) Letters of Agreement (LOAs) with Alaska Airlines. In accordance with Article XXIII, Section 6B of the AMFA Constitution, AMFA National is conducting a referendum vote for the membership at Alaska Airlines to consider these LOAs. The two LOAs pertain to: 1) days off due to training, and 2) 180-day temporary assignments. The complete text of both LOAs will be included in each ballot package and on the Elections and Referendum page of the AMFA National Web site. Votes for this referendum will be cast using the TrueBallot Inc., WebVote® and TeleVote® systems. All active AMFA members in good standing employed by Alaska Airlines under the Mechanics and Related Collective Bargaining Agreement are eligible to vote in this referendum. Note: Any member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been paid in full is a member in bad standing, and therefore, their vote will be eliminated prior to the vote tally. Members are strongly urged to resolve any arrearage prior to the tally so their vote will be counted. Voting instructions will be mailed to eligible voters at the address on file with AMFA National as of January 18, 2008. Any eligible member who has not received voting instructions in the mail by January 31, 2008, or anyone having questions about the voting process, should contact the Elections Administrator at 720-744-6629. The voting period for this referendum will commence at 3:00pm et on January 18, 2008, and will end at 10:00am et on February 14, 2008. |
