AMFA was certified at Mesaba Airlines in July 29, 1996. The Association currently represents approximately 170 members who maintain the airlines fleet of Bombardier CRJs and Saab 340s. The current contract amendable date is December 2010.

The votes for the AMFA – Mesaba Airlines Mandatory Overtime Pay for Field Service Trips Letter of Agreement (LOA) Referendum were tallied on November 2, 2009. In an effort to settle grievance number 202221 (Mandatory Overtime Pay for Field Service Trips) the Company has offered a settlement; however, part of this settlement requires the modification of our current contract language for the PMI data entry for deferrals.

Primary and Alternate AMFA - Mesaba ASAP ERC Representative Election Results PDF Print E-mail

In December 2007 AMFA National called for nominations to fill the positions of Primary and Alternate AMFA – Mesaba Airlines (XJ) Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representatives in accordance with AMFA National Policy.

Two members were submitted in nomination for these positions; Darrin Ceason indicated that he preferred to serve as the Alternate AMFA ASAP ERC Representative while David Dufour preferred to serve as the Primary. Therefore, as only two candidates have been nominated to fill two positions, no election is required at this time.

David Dufour will serve as the XJ membership’s Primary Representative on the ASAP ERC. As the Alternate, Darrin Ceason will serve in the event the Primary is unavailable.
