Steven A.
Nowak – National Secretary/Treasurer
Steven
was hired at Republic Airlines in 1986, and later that year Republic was merged
into Northwest Airlines. He has worked his entire career with the combined
carrier in DTW working the flight line and Hangar maintenance as an A&P and
R& E Mechanic.
Steven
has been actively involved with AMFA since 1987 in organizing drives at NWA and
other carriers. He has played an integral role in certifying AMFA at NWA and after
certification served as a Shop Representative, Local Secretary, and Local Vice
President before being elected as the National
Secretary in 2005.
