Region II Director Special Election Notice & Candidate Profiles

In accordance with Article VIII, Section 1 of the AMFA Constitution, the National Executive Council has called for a special election to fill the vacant office of Region II Director. The term of office will commence on the first day of the month following certification of the election and will expire on October 5, 2020. The duties for this position may be found in Article VI, Section 10 of the AMFA Constitution. At this time it is anticipated that this position will serve on a part-time, as needed basis.
The Election Notice and Voting Instructions will be mailed to eligible voters at the address on file with AMFA National by December 29, 2016. Any eligible member who has not received voting instructions in the mail by January 10, 2017, or anyone having questions about the voting process, should contact the Administration Director at 720-744-6629. The vote tally will be on January 24, 2017, and the results will be released by January 25, 2017.
Votes for this election will be cast using the TrueBallot WebVote® and TeleVote® systems. Members may vote in this election from 3:00pm et on December 29, 2016, to 10:00am et on January 24, 2017. All active members in good standing in Region II are eligible to vote in this special election. Note: Any member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been reconciled is a member in bad standing, and therefore, is ineligible to vote.
